COVID-19 Policy

In response to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, Connected Event Group have taken the following steps to ensure our working environment is as safe as reasonably practicable, for both our staff and clients:

Entry Requirements & Record Keeping

To enable easy contact tracing in the case of a suspected or confirmed workplace COVID-19 positive case, all Connected Event Group visitors are required to complete our online COVID-19 Declaration form.

Furthermore, in an effort to maintain a workplace that is as safe as possible for both our clients and staff, only those staff and visitors who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 (or medically exempt) are currently allowed onsite. Exemptions can be made for unvaccinated staff and visitors, but this must be signed off by management and they must present a negative COVID-19 PCR test result in the preceding 72 hours. Visitors must be prepared to show their Vaccination Passport to a designated staff member to obtain

And lastly, in line with updated NSW Government public health mandates, all staff and visitors must wear a mask at all times while in our premises.

Wellbeing of Staff & Customers

In an effort to create and maintain a workplace that is as safe as possible for both our clients and staff, all onsite Connected Event Group staff are fully vaccinated against COVID-19. In addition, anyone who is unwell or exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19 is not to attend our workplace and is instructed to instead stay home and get tested. Everyone onsite is encouraged to practise good hygiene at all times. This includes the use of the hand sanitiser provided and regular hand washing with soap and water.

Social Distancing

From 15 December 2021, the NSW Government public health orders regarding density limits in offices were abolished. However, as the pandemic persists and virus transmission remains a concern, in an effort to maintain the safety of all staff and visitors, we continue to encourage social distancing onsite of at least 1.5m and manage maximum density limits accordingly. If that distance can’t be maintained, disposable masks are available as an additional precaution.

Studio & Office Cleaning

Connected Event Group workplaces are cleaned in accordance with the cleaning guidelines set out by SafeWork Australia. We use a combination of cleaning and disinfection, which has shown to be the most effective in removing the COVID-19 virus from surfaces. The Studio and all of it’s equipment is subject to a thorough cleaning and ventilation after each client booking.

Confirmed/Suspected Covid-19 Case

The affected team member or visitor must notify management and remove themselves from the workplace immediately. HR will advise SafeWork NSW who will share the contact information provided with NSW Health, to assist the contact tracing and management of the confirmed case. We will also advise other staff, clients and contractors of the situation - while maintaining the privacy and confidentiality of the COVID-19 positive case - and the required next steps.
