We worked with CGU Insurance company on the internal launch of a short film marketing collaboration between CGU/IAU and The Jim Henson Company. Part of this launch included a remotely facilitated live Q&A with IAU CMO Brent Smart and Brian Henson, Director of the Jim Henson Company.
Using our purpose built broadcasting studio along with our reliable streaming technology we were able to stream the event, live in Full HD, to over 400 CGU staff across Australia. IAU CMO Brent Smart was based in our Sydney based studio, while Brian Henson was remotely presenting from the US. Despite being in two disparate locations, our production team ensured that the presentations of both speakers and their live Q&A ran seamlessly and was successfully streamed to the staff audience in real time, with quality picture and sound.
In addition to our team providing its usual virtual event guidance, technical skills and know-how throughout the event process, we further enhanced audience connection to the project by utilising our in-studio LED screen to customise the set with Tall Poppy herself.
CGU were able to present their project in a stylised and professional manner as well as showcase their partnership with the Jim Henson company to all employees. As CGU’s staff are based across Australia, choosing to run this event virtually removed any geographical and logistical barriers and allowed their entire national team to attend. Additionally, hosting a virtual event allowed CGU to engage a highly respected international speaker, that due to travel requirements and cost implications may not have been otherwise possible.
