Travel Managers 2026 - Cornerstone Events

The Challenge

CEG founder Libbie Ray recently travelled to Hobart to support the delivery of TravelManagers Conference 2026, working with our long-term client Cornerstone Events to oversee the technical production of the event.

With the venue providing in-house AV services, Connected Event Group's role was centred around technical planning, production oversight and managing the delivery of the technical elements.

‍

The Solution

Our involvement began well before guests arrived. The team worked through the technical production plans and event requirements to ensure there was a clear understanding of how each element would come together on site. Acting as the technical production lead, we helped bridge the gap between the event objectives and the venue's technical capabilities.

‍

Once on site, our focus shifted to overseeing the live delivery of the event. Working alongside the in-house AV team, we managed the technical production throughout the program and ensured the event continued to run smoothly as the schedule unfolded.

‍

For event organisers, managing technical production can involve coordinating a wide range of moving parts, particularly when working with venue-supplied AV. Having an experienced production partner involved provides an additional layer of technical expertise and oversight, allowing the event team to focus on the wider event experience.

‍

The Results

TravelManagers 2026 demonstrates how Connected Event Group can support events beyond simply supplying equipment. From developing technical production plans through to overseeing the live event, our team provides the knowledge and on-site support needed to help bring complex event programs together.

‍

We were pleased to once again support Cornerstone Events and look forward to continuing our long-standing relationship on future events.
