In June 2022, Hays approached us to help run their annual ANZ Salary Guide event, a virtual panel discussion on what to expect over the next 12 months regarding salary expectations in the workforce, live-streamed to Hays clients across Australia & NZ.
The panel was hosted by SBS Journalist and Presenter, Janice Peterson, with the panel conversations led by Managing Director of Hays Australia & NZ, Nick Deligiannis. The 1 hour broadcast was a mix of live conversation - some of it in response to the questions from the online audience - insight delivery and pre recorded videos. Keeping the content at the perfect level of fun and educational, as well as interactive, meant the event was a huge success; streaming out to almost 5,000 virtual attendees. The audience engagement was kept high throughout the conference with virtual Q&A and repeated audience polling which kept the discussion going and in turn, kept the virtual audience engaged and interacting.
The event was streamed from our custom built studio in Chippendale to create a professional and high quality viewing experience for attendees. To bring the clients vision to life we employed a multicam production utilising 3 cameras, studio lighting, 2 teleprompters, and LED screens. Fold back screens were also supplied to allow the presenters to view the audience questions during the live Q&A portion of the event as they came through. To add that extra wow factor, we also had a virtual scribe annotating the event as it was happening - in combination with AI implementation - to allow for live captioning on the event microsite, creating a more inclusive experience.
